They undertake newbuild and refurbishment schemes as well as long-term contracts to operate and maintain assets and facilities, with clients including national government, local authorities, transport bodies, hospitals, universities, housing providers, retailers and commercial firms in every sector.
Vinci Construction takes a collaborative, partnership approach to projects, building professional relationships based on mutual respect and trust, operating a culture of teamwork, openness and support, in which everyone is encouraged to strive for excellence. And Vinci was also on the look for a collaborative new partner when they wanted to create an informal meeting space at their head office site in St. Helens, Merseyside.
In aiming to improve their work environment, employee feedback clearly stated a need for an area to connect, meet, and collaborate. As work styles change, Vinci realised they had to change the historically traditional culture to support the future of work styles and trusted Dams Furniture as their partner for their total package of product quality, company engagement, and innovative design.
To transition the work environment and provide a functional space where all employees could come together to work or celebrate, Vinci selected dining height tables and chairs, together with Ziggy soft seating meeting pods in green and grey fabrics.
Ziggy is available as a 2 or 4 person meeting pod and has been designed to bring people together in a place where ideas, insight and inspiration can be shared. The fully upholstered cushion and back delivers comfort and support with a modern design to create quiet space in today’s collaborative open offices, offering a private place for employees to sit and relax, or for teams to meet in seclusion.
With quality furnishings to help maximise functionality and complement the aesthetics of the space, Dams were able to create a space that portrayed everything the Vinci Construction team had hoped for.
