What will you be doing?
Assist the Despatch Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, whilst ensuring that staff comply with health, safety, and standard operating procedures.
Supervise stock accuracy through Perpetual Inventory (PI) checks and stock movements.
Ensure picking process is accurate and that every order is despatched from the warehouse on time and to customers’ specification.
Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and record keeping.
Ensure work allocations relate to priorities and that vehicle departure schedules are met.
Reporting all damage caused in the Warehouse to the Despatch Manager immediately.
To join the team, you will need:
Strong understanding of all warehouse functions – goods-In/pick/stock moves etc.
Experience of managing teams within tight quality and efficiency parameters
